Today was your first day of kindergarten. I cannot tell you how incredibly proud of you I am. You approached this day with enthusiasm and excitement and although I suspect that you were a bit nervous, you marched into school and followed your teacher's instructions like a champ. I don't doubt for a minute that you will be a great student and your Dad and I can't wait to watch you thrive in this new environment. You have so much curiosity that I'm confident will be met in your new classroom.
You are so very special to us. When God granted us with the miracle of you, we were thrilled with the blessing of becoming parents. We were committed to doing all that we could to "parent" you in every way we knew possible and would sacrifice whatever it took to deliver on that promise. Since I first fell in love with my 9 pound 8 ounce baby five years ago, you have amazed me with your smile, gentle heart, intellectual ability and sweet little boy charm. I love you so deeply Drew bear and am so very happy to watch you start your school years.
Today, as I do every day, I felt so incredibly grateful that God chose me to be your mommy.
