Mommy Loves Photography

I love photography. My love began a long time ago and I nurtured this love during my college years (actually spending time in a dark room developing my own photos), but it wasn't until the sweet blessings of motherhood were bestowed upon me that this hobby turned into a passion that I adore. I am inspired by the beautiful works and breathtaking images of other photographers and want to learn as much as possible to improve my technical skill and creative mind in order to capture breathtaking images of my all-time favorite subject matter - my FIVE boys!

My style however; is not to drag my kids out to get THE perfect shot. I am inspired by our everyday surroundings and the blessings that are our everyday life. The busy hurried days and the lazy boring days are filled with preciousness that I want to capture. And my goal is never to neglect our everyday life in the pursuit of the THE shot. Sad faces, angry faces, happy faces, frustrated faces and funny faces are all worthy of a click in my book.

My blog is my place to archive our incredibly wonderful blessings - through words and through images. And I will continue to snap away. Because the days may be long, but the years are short.
